    Dear Colleagues,

The Southern Management Association's annual meeting time is drawing closer!
It?s November 9-12 at the Hyatt Regency in Savannah, Georgia. If you have
not registered for the meeting and/or made your hotel reservations yet, it
is definitely time to do so!

    SMA REGISTRATION

We strongly encourage you to register for the meeting prior to arriving in
Savannah. To do so, just go to
    http://southernmanagement.org/meetings/2011/reginfo.asp to access and
    complete the online registration form.

    HOTEL RESERVATIONS

If you haven?t already done so, please plan to make your hotel reservations
as soon as possible. Our conference hotel, the Hyatt Regency, is very close
to being sold out for SMA 2011. To access online reservations for the Hyatt
    Regency, go to http://southernmanagement.org/meetings/2011/hotelinfo.asp and
    follow the directions there.

If you are unable to reserve a room at the conference hotel, SMA has
arranged an overflow hotel option with the Holiday Inn Express Historic
District (199 East Bay Street), adjacent and a block or so from the Hyatt
Regency. Holiday Inn is offering rates for SMA 2011 attendees of $136
single/double for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and $176
single/double for Friday and Saturday evenings. To make reservations,
please call the hotel directly at 912-231-9000. Ask for "Reservations" and
then "the SMA 2011 group rate". The cutoff date for making your
reservations is Monday, October 10, 2011.
