O'Bleness Professor of International Strategy

and Director, Center for International Business Education and Development

The College of Business at Ohio University is seeking an O'Bleness Professor of International Strategy who will also serve as Director of our Center for International Business Education and Development.  The CIBED is the base for our extensive study abroad programs, and significant administrative support exists in the Center.  The successful candidate will also take a leadership role in the oversight of our major in International Business.   We seek a candidate with a strong research record and a record of curricular innovation to reinvigorate our major and build on our strong foundation of study abroad programs.  The department has approximately 15 tenure-track faculty whose research interests provide a wide array of co-authoring possibilities.  

The ideal candidate will have a research and teaching background commensurate with appointment at the rank of associate or full professor. We seek someone with an academic emphasis in international management, and we have a strong preference for a supporting area in strategic management. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a balance between research and teaching accomplishments in their prior work.
