Dear all

I am delighted to announce that Ilan Alon will be the next Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Emerging Markets.  Known to many in the IB arena, Ilan is Cornell Professor of International Business and Director of the <st1:country-region w:st="on">China</st1:country-region> and <st1:placename w:st="on">India</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Centers</st1:placetype> at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Rollins College</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">Florida</st1:state></st1:place>.  He is also Editor of AIB Insights.

Ilan will begin his editorial tenure on 1 May 2012, with responsibility for issues published in 2013 and beyond.

International Journal of Emerging Markets is a multidisciplinary journal that welcomes papers from all the major disciplines in business and management studies, including:

§         marketing

§         strategy

§         finance and accounting

§         operations and decision sciences

§         organizational behaviour and cross-cultural management

§         international business

§         international trade and business economics
