Dear Colleagues,

Greetings from the Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut. On behalf of my colleague Fida Afiouni, Dima Jamali and myself (Charlotte Karam), I am emailing with regards to the Academy of Management Annual Meeting to be held in Anaheim, California, USA on August 5-9, 2016.

 We are currently preparing a proposal for a Presenter Symposium focused on:

Gendering the HRM - CSR nexus in developing economies: 

Meaningful tools and innovative mechanisms for women's employment and career advancement

Please refer to the Call for Papers attached for further information about the proposed symposium.

 With this theme in mind, we would like to invite you to submit a paper to this symposium. If interested, please let us know by sending an email to ck16@aub.edu.lb  before November 30^th.

 Other deadlines to keep in mind:

•              December 10^th : Initial short Abstract

•              December 22^nd : Detailed Abstract (Two- to five-page synopsis of your paper as per AOM style)

•              January 4th: Revised Detailed Abstract incorporating reviewer feedback

•              January 11th: Symposium submission by organizers

•              End of March: Notification of Acceptance of the Symposium by AOM

•              July 15th:  Full Paper to be emailed to fa16@aub.edu.lb  to allow time for the Symposium Discussant to read before the conference.
