INCAE Business School invites applications for faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate, in the Department of (Marketing/Leadership).
INCAE Business School, based in Costa Rica, a world-class institution that has consistently been ranked as the best business school in Latin America, is seeking to recruit both junior and senior faculty members for faculty positions in the areas of Marketing and Leadership.
Requirements:
The successful candidates for the position must have a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) postdoctoral experience and an appropriate publication record with advanced academic training in a management related discipline, a strong background in management research, the ability to teach graduate-level management courses, and the capacity to work with interdisciplinary groups.
International applicants with no Spanish language knowledge should be willing to become proficient in Spanish (INCAE will provide a tutor). Additionally, it is expected that the candidates comply with the following duties and responsibilities in the school:
Contribute to research and scholarship through high quality publications.
Help guide within their departments research efforts in their areas of expertise.
Develop high quality and student-oriented classes.
Use and implement top notch studies and materials.
Participate in Executive Education seminars as needed.
Advise and mentor students.
Participate actively in campus life and committees.
Must have a fluency in English and demonstrate an ability to quickly learn Spanish.
Work experience: 2 or more years of postdoctoral experience.
Research: Must have a record of scholarly productivity through publication in peer-reviewed journals and a record of presentation at research seminars. Must have a national reputation for excellence in scholarship. A clear record of excellence in research and training over a long time period.
Compensation Package:
The rank and salary will be commensurate with educational preparation and experience. Group life, relocation expenses (if needed), work permit, health insurance and retirement plans are available on a participating basis.
