    Assistant/Associate Professor – International Business - Fall, 2008

     

    The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename></st1:place> invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of International Business. 

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or D.B.A. (or must complete all degree requirements before the effective date of appointment) in international business or related business discipline with demonstrated teaching effectiveness and research interests in International Business. Additional required qualifications are excellent oral and written communication skills and successful experience with diverse populations. Applicants must also be willing to engage in business and community outreach.  International business experience and/or consulting experience are strongly desired.  


    RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching undergraduate and graduate level (MBA) courses in international business and related areas such as international management, marketing, or economics; engaging in research leading to publications and other scholarly output; serving on faculty and other committees; participating in other appropriate service and professional activities, especially activities and programs undertaken by our recently established <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">International</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Center</st1:placetype></st1:place>.  Normal teaching load is 9 hours per semester.

    APPOINTMENT/SALARY: Appointment for this tenure track faculty position is for nine months beginning August 2008. Salary is AACSB competitive. Summer research support is available on a competitive basis.
