Dear IMD Colleagues,
The Iberoamerican Academy of Management (IAM) has organized a series of fabulous sessions at the upcoming Academy of Management meetings in Anaheim in August. Sessions address micro and macro research domains using qualitative and quantitative methods, teaching, and also career/professional issues. If you are interested in Latin America, Spain/Portugal, or Latino populations in North America, attending these sessions will allow you to establish collaborative relationships, find possible sites for data collection, discuss research and teaching opportunities (e.g., student exchange programs), sabbaticals, and more! Thank you to Mickey Quiñones (Southern Methodist U.) for putting together an outstanding program!
Given its success at last year's AOM meetings, IAM and its flagship journal Management Research will sponsor a social hour/reception on Saturday at 7pm immediately following the business meeting. We hope to see a lot of old and new friends and colleagues interested in Iberoamerican issues-everyone is welcome (including non-members)! For more information on the Academy of Management meetings, please visit http://aom.org/annualmeeting/
I look forward to seeing you in beautiful California!
All the best,
Herman Aguinis
