The Lindner-Gambal Professorship
The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) invites applications to fill the distinguished Lindner-Gambal Professorship in Business Ethics.
Applicants from various disciplines with a demonstrated expertise related to business ethics and/or corporate responsibility/sustainability management are encouraged to apply. The professorship could be housed in any of the departments at GWSB. We welcome applications from full professors or associate professors.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have an outstanding record of scholarly publications that are related to the fields of ethics and/or corporate responsibility/sustainability management in top tier journals, a doctoral degree in a relevant field; national and international recognition commensurate with a distinguished professor; evidence of high quality teaching, and a willingness to teach, among other courses, a dedicated course related to business ethics within the undergraduate, MBA, or Ph.D. program.
For the last 20 years, GWSB has been consistently ranked among the top ten business schools for its research and teaching in corporate social/environmental responsibility and ethics. The School is also top ranked for its research and programs in international business. GWSB is located in Washington DC, blocks from the White House, the World Bank, Federal Reserve, US Department of State, and IMF.
