As those of you going to Atlanta just a reminder of a few key items.
A summary of the program is available in the IMD newsletter:
http://division.aomonline.org/im/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=26&Itemid=2
However, this will not include any changes made after around April. Any
changes sent to me should be reflected in the on-line program,
program.aomonline.org/2006. However, even then a few late changes may not
have made it in (so act on your best judgement).
As always we invite all the members of the division (and friends) to all
the usual events:
The IM Division Welcome (Session 415) will be held Monday morning from
7:30am – 8:20am in Madrid.
The Barry Richman Dissertation Award finalists will present their work in
Session 857 at 4:10pm in the Amsterdam Room.
The IM Division Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony will be held on
Monday afternoon from 5:30pm–7:00pm in Copenhagen.
The IM Division Social will follow the Business Meeting on Monday evening
at 7:00pm in Imperial Salon A.
The IM Division Membership Program Feedback Meeting (Session 1363) will be
held on Wednesday morning from 7:30am–8:20am in Madrid.
We have three special sessions:
Management Involvement Committee: Roundtable on International Activities.
It will be held from 12:20pm–2:10pm in Copenhagen (Session 665).
Management in an Age of Disruption is an IMD/All Academy Symposia
featuring Dov Zackheim (former Under Secretary of Defense), Paul Leonard
(former CEO, Habitat for Humanity), PK Khannan (CEO 24/7) and C.K.
Prahalad (University of Michigan). It is scheduled for Tuesday at
2:30pm–3:50pm
in International 6.
The Booz Allen Hamilton Eminent Scholar in International Management Award
(Session 1343) will be awarded to C.K. Prahalad of the University of
Michigan with commentary by Yves Doz (Insead) and Art Kleiner (Booz Allen
Hamilton). It is scheduled for Tuesday at 5:30pm–7:00pm in Stockholm.
All of our paper and visual paper sessions are in the Marriott Marquis.
The Interactive Paper sessions are in the Hyatt. Most of our symposia
sessions are in the Marriott but a few are in other hotels depending on the
co-sponsorships. So please check the location carefully.
I look forward to welcoming you all to Atlanta. See you next week.
