  • 1.  Appalachian State Int'l Mgmt Position

    International Management:

     

    The Department of Management at Appalachian State University (ASU) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in international management at the rank of assistant or associate beginning August 2010.  Individuals with academic training in international management as well as business ethics, entrepreneurship, human resource management, organizational behavior, or strategy who are interested in teaching international management are encouraged to apply.  Rank and salary are commensurate with experience.  Instructional duties will include undergraduate courses and may include graduate, online and/or off-campus courses.  Faculty members are expected to maintain an active program of scholarship and participate in service activities.  Minimal qualifications include PhD or ABD with degree completion prior to appointment from an AACSB accredited institution.

    A complete application consists of an application letter, curriculum vita, evidence of teaching effectiveness, research accomplishments, and contact information for three professional references.  Application materials should be sent to Dr. Lyle Schoenfeldt, Chair (schoenfeldtl@appstate.edu), International Management Search Committee.  Address: Department of Management, Appalachian State University, ASU Box 32089, Boone, North Carolina 28608-2089.  A review of completed applications will begin as received and will continue until the positions are filled.
