    HEC Montr?al ? Faculty Position in International Business

    The Department of International Business of HEC Montr?al invites
    applications for faculty positions at all levels, tenured and tenure track,
    starting in June 2011. The positions are subject to budgetary approval. The
    candidate may specialize in any sub-field in international business,
    including but not limited to international strategy, international
    marketing, international economics and international finance. The successful
    candidate will be engaged in high-quality teaching and research on the
    practical challenges that companies face in the global economy.

    ABOUT THE SCHOOL: Founded in 1907, HEC Montr?al (www.hec.ca) is one of the
    oldest and largest business schools in North America. The School has over
    12,000 students in its 38 management study programs, from the undergraduate
    to postgraduate levels, and employs close to 260 professors. Its MBA program
    is ranked 10th by Business Week among non-US business school world-wide and
    it is the only business school in North America to be accredited by the
    AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.

    ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEPARTMENT: The Department of International
    Business consists of 13 full-time professors from diverse disciplinary
    backgrounds that share a common interest in the exploration of international
    business in the context of globalization and emerging economies. The
    Department offers a broad selection of courses in international business,
    offers an international business major at the B.A.A. level, a M.Sc. in
    international business, and an international business major at the Ph.D.
    level.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should hold or should anticipate completing a
    Ph.D. in international business or a related field by June 1, 2011.
    Candidates for associate or full professor should have an established record
    of quality research and teaching while candidates for assistant professor
    should be promising scholars. Successful candidates will be expected to
    publish research in major journals and to teach high-quality graduate and
    undergraduate courses.

    Courses at HEC Montr?al are primarily taught in French, with a growing
    number of courses also given in English and Spanish. The School?s inception
    program provides excellent support to learn French in order to become fluent
    within two years. The School has top-tier teaching and research facilities.
    Research publication is financially rewarded.

    APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Professors Bernard Sinclair-Desgagn? (department
    chair), Marlei Pozzebon and Ari Van Assche will conduct interviews at the
    AOM. To schedule an interview, candidates should before July 31, 2010 e-mail
    a curriculum vitae, a brief cover letter that summarizes research and
    teaching experience, and the names of three references to Prof. Van Assche
    (ari.van-assche@hec.ca). Other materials will be requested at a later date
    as necessary.

    Those not attending the AOM meetings should before September 1, 2010 e-mail
    Prof. Van Assche their curriculum vitae, a cover letter that summarizes
    research and teaching experience, teaching evaluations and three samples of
    scholarly work (including at least one full paper). Furthermore, the
    applicant should arrange to have three letters of reference e-mailed or sent
