    The International Corporate Governance Society (ICGS) invites corporate governance scholars to participate in our 3rd Annual Conference which will be held September 2-3, 2017 in Rome, Italy.  Created in 2014, the ICGS is a global academic interdisciplinary society for anyone committed to corporate governance teaching, research, and consulting.  We offer many member benefits to committed corporate governance scholars.  
     
    LUISS University and LUISS Business School will host the event with a theme of Corporate Power and Corporate Governance: Balancing Value Creation with Stakeholder Accountability. 
     
    Professor Franklin Allen will serve as our distinguished keynote speaker. Franklin Allen is Professor of Finance and Economics and Executive Director of the Brevan Howard Centre at Imperial College London and has held these positions since July, 2014.  He was on the faculty of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania from 1980 – 2016.
     
    Please consider submitting an individual paper or symposium proposal as well as attending the conference. 
     
    Presentation proposals can be submitted starting on February 1, 2017 with a final deadline of April 1, 2017
     
    Conference registration will open immediately after April 1.
