    Dear Colleagues:

You are invited to the Caucus on ‘Intentional Inclusiveness and Meaningfulness in Organizations: Canons of Integration’ at the 2016 Annual Academy of Management conference in Anaheim, California.

This session is scheduled for Monday, August 8, 4:45 pm – 6:15 pm at the Anaheim Marriott in Platinum Ballroom 6.

Here is a brief description of the Caucus: The process of making organizations meaningful requires Socratic questioning and intentional thinking. In this caucus, we will discuss how organizations can develop intentional mechanisms to practice this process by effectively integrating diverse stakeholders. Specifically, we will outline canons that can enable organizations to effectively integrate this diversity towards meaningful inclusive outcomes.

We expect to build on the ideas of this caucus with future initiatives such as a journal special issue exploring the question of how organizations can develop canons of integration that are very meaningful, and what kinds of innovative work practices will be required to do so.

Please join us in this important conversation. Thank you in advance for your interest.

    Best regards,

    Rashmi Assudani & David Zoogah
    (Caucus Organizers)
