    Dear Colleagues,
We kindly invite you to attend the following Caucus session at the upcoming Academy of Management Meeting in Atlanta:
At the Interface of “Always-On”: Exploring Employee Social Media Presence for Today’s Organizations
Scheduled: Monday, Aug 7 2017 9:45AM - 11:15AM at Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Marquis M302
Organizer: Pamela Lirio, U. de Montréal
Organizer: Marie-Cécile Cervellon, EDHEC Business School
Facilitator: Roope Heinilä, CEO of Smarp, Inc.
Participant: Wayne F. Cascio, U. of Colorado, Denver
    Participant: Karl Moore, McGill U.
Participant: Miguel R. Olivas-Luján, Clarion U. of Pennsylvania
    Participant: Ibraiz Tarique, Pace U.
In this caucus, we will discuss the emerging phenomenon of “employee branding” (employees internalizing and projecting the company brand image to customers, job candidates, and other stakeholders) via social media. The aim is to connect scholars and practitioners interested in how social networks (both internal and external platforms) are increasingly being used by organizations to foster employee brand ambassadors and build a strong organizational culture. We feature our theoretical framework on employee branding via social media (Cervellon & Lirio, MIT SMR, 2017) and a demo by the industry leader in employee communication, advocacy and engagement applications, Smarp.
We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta soon.
    Best,
    Pamela Lirio, PhD
    Assistant Professor, Université de Montréal
Global Ambassador du Canada, GDO division, Academy of Management
