The HCM EE track will present the experiences of scholars who are working in the development of theory and deployment of Human Centered Management that are strengthening EE Programs around the world.
Participants will find unique opportunity to learn and share from panelists and participants and contribute to foster a global discussion of fast growing concern in management and governance worldwide. PDW details below.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday 8/7 at 8 a.m. in VCC Room 122.

Catolica de Chile School of Engineering Panelist: Mhamed Biygautane; Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government In synch with the 2015 AOM program theme, Opening Governance, this PDW opens the discussion analyzing Doctorates of Business Administrations (DBA) and Human Centered Management in Executive Education (HCM EE). . The DBA panel will provide opportunity to assess results and discuss how universities are managing DBA education from the perspectives of faculty development and evidence based management. The DBA panel will address questions such as what practical approaches are used to develop individuals' executive education capability and what are the forces that induce the need for change and innovation in DBA. The EE panel will discuss the benefits and challenges of a rapidly expanding global demand for Human Centered Management (HCM). Panelists will discuss Why, What, and How HCM is deployed in 4 Continents based on the experience of 32 scholars - in a balanced mix of developed and developing countries - who will present their studies in the forthcoming book "Human Centered Management in Executive Education Global Imperatives, Innovation and New Directions", edited by Maria-Teresa Lepeley, Ernst von Kimakowitz and Roland Bardy (Palgrave, January 2016). Presentations will compare and contrast the experiences of scholars and practitioners who are developing Human Centered Management education models to meet a growing demand from business corporations and public organizations worldwide. Scarcity of research in EE contrasts deeply with an increased global awareness that HCM is important at all organizational levels, but is critical at governance level. The workshop is intended to provide ample opportunity to discuss experiences with high potential to foster innovations in management, open up governance and attain sustainability.
