International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICCCR & HRM), at The Business School, University of Jammu, following the success of HR Conference on: "Cross Cultural Management : Practice and Research" held in February,2009, announces the 2nd International Conference during February 24-25,2010.

    Conference Focus

In the era of global interdependence, organisations and work situations have to be viewed as laboratories for inter-cultural cooperation. Managing individuals and organisations successfully in turbulent and highly diverse environments require, among others, a better understanding of commonalities and differences of these contexts. Accordingly, the present times advocate the need for appreciating cross-cultural perspectives and orientations in the way the challenges of workforce / consumer diversity are addressed in today's transnational and multicultural context. This Conference thus, aims at identifying and debating various cross cultural issues confronting today's business leaders for effectively managing global enterprises.

The Conference aims to bring together Management practitioners, academicians, policy makers, researchers and other experts to share their insights on the subject, as visualised from national/global perspective and past/current/future standpoints.
