CALL FOR PAPERS
Dhruva College of Management (Dhruva) is happy to announce the 1st International Conference on Women Leadership in Organizations and Society.
THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE ARE:
· to provide a special forum to present and discuss research based knowledge among academicians, people from industry and practitioners on various issues related to women leadership, specifically those related to the organizations in particular, and society in general.
· to discuss the status, enabling factors, and constraining factors, in the presence, well being, and advancement of women in the organizations and society, particularly in the emerging markets, and generally in and in comparison with the world markets.
· to learn, share, and study how the pathways to women leadership are multidimensional, consisting of a number of elements that are interdependent to business, society, family, economics, politics, and culture; and how these elements complicate the journey of women leadership and advancement.
The conference provides a unique forum for discussing and debating multi-disciplinary research and practice, by bringing together researchers across academic institutions and industry people to find out the organizational best practices, societal changes, and leadership journeys of both exemplary women as well as next-door women in urban and rural settings, as well as local and global settings. It also allows for discussion on the conferences on women leadership organized worldwide, for bringing about fundamental changes in the policy frameworks, organizational philosophies, and social attitudes, and for enabling mentors, role models, and peer networks for women.
