    The International Management Division will sponsor a Junior Faculty Consortium on Saturday, August 4th from 12:00 to 5:30 p.m., during the pre-conference period of the 2007 <st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management</st1:placename> annual meetings in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Philadelphia</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">PA</st1:state>, <st1:country-region w:st="on">USA</st1:country-region></st1:place>.

The purpose of the IMD Junior Faculty Consortium is to enhance the research, teaching and overall career development of faculty who have defended their dissertations and now are in the early stages of their academic careers.  The consortium provides opportunities for structured discussion and informal interaction between early-career faculty and a broad-based panel of senior faculty from around the world, on the themes of research, teaching and career development.  It is an excellent forum for exchanging ideas and tips about research and teaching, as well as for expanding one's academic network.

Our PDW will begin with an informal lunch session, proceed into two ninty-minute interactive sessions, and conclude with a highly interactive "Meet the Editors" session.  The journals represented at this session will include representatives from the following journals:

    <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management</st1:placename></st1:place> Journal
