    Indiana University Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Faculty Position

     

    Position Summary

    The Management & Entrepreneurship Department at Indiana University-Bloomington invites applications for a tenure track position in Strategy. The rank is at the Assistant/Associate/or Full Professor level.

     

    Qualifications

    Candidates must possess a doctoral degree (ABD considered) in Strategic Management, or a related discipline. Proven effectiveness in teaching and research is required.

    Management & Entrepreneurship Department

    The tenure track position is within the Management & Entrepreneurship Department in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University (https://kelley.iu.edu/Management/index.html). The group has a long, established history of contributions to strategy. In one recent indicator of the department's research productivity, it was ranked at #5 in the 2017 Texas A&M/UGA Rankings (based on the yearly count of publications in premier management journals). Current faculty whose research contributes to strategy and related areas include Idie Kesner, Jeff Covin, Dan Li, M.K. Chin, Eric Zhao, Matt Josefy, Greg Fisher, Blake Mathias, Stephanie Wang, Trent Williams and Juan Bu.  The department benefits from encompassing faculty from four research traditions – strategy, international business, entrepreneurship (Don Kuratko, Jeff McMullen, Regan Stevenson in addition to those listed above)  and organizational behavior (Tim Baldwin, Chris Berry, Erik Gonzalez-Mule, Cristiano Guarana, Richard Magjuka, Ernest O'Boyle, Sheri Walter)  – facilitating and encouraging collaboration.

     

    The Management & Entrepreneurship Department is located at the main campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. It is one of eight academic departments in the Kelley School of Business, one of the leading business schools in the world. Indiana University is a member of the Big-10 Conference.

    The Management & Entrepreneurship Department at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University-Bloomington invites applicants for tenured/tenure track positions to begin fall 2019. Preference will be given to candidates with interest in Entrepreneurship, Strategy or related area.

    Applications for all levels (assistant, associate and full) will be accepted. A doctoral degree (or ABD status in the case of the Assistant rank) in the area of appointment or related field and strong records (or promise in the case of Assistant rank) in both research and teaching are required.
