  • 1.  Management PhD Program at Louisiana State University invites applications

    The Department of Management at Louisiana State University is seeking highly qualified domestic and international applicants for our PhD program in management.

    The primary mission of LSU's PhD in business administration with a major in management is to develop academics who are capable of conducting and publishing scholarly research in the broad domain of management and who are qualified to instruct in a university environment.

     

    Research of the department's faculty span the broad areas of Corporate Governance, Decision-making, Innovation Management, International Management, Leadership, Human Resource Management, Occupational Safety, Organizational Climate, Organization Theory, Personality and Individual Differences, Research Methods, and Strategic Management.

     

    Graduate assistantships providing competitive financial support are available for students admitted into the program. In addition to providing a stipend and a tuition waiver, graduate assistantships provide PhD students with hands-on experience necessary for honing research and teaching skills. Assistantships are typically awarded for four years.

     

    The E. J. Ourso College of Business emphasizes high-quality research and teaching, and maintains strong ties with the local business community. LSU is located in Baton Rouge, which provides numerous cultural and recreational amenities that enhance the quality of life for area residents. Moreover, Baton Rouge is located approximately 70 miles north of New Orleans.
