The Academy of Management Perspectives, in line with its mission, is holding a proposal development workshop at the University of California, Irvine on March 23, from 9 am to 12 noon. AMP's mission is to motivate scholarly conversations of emerging and important phenomena in business and management. The purpose of this workshop is to help prospective authors understand the mission of the journal, the types of publications it accepts, and the editorial process. Small group discussions of attendees' paper ideas will follow the general presentation. The workshop will be conducted by Phillip Phan, editor of AMP, and the Alonzo and Virginia Decker Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. The workshop is hosted by Margarethe Wiersema, Dean's Professor of Management at the University of California, Irvine, and the Department of Management.
