Translation Islamic economic philosophy into a contribution to modern managerial theories is the objective of the book. Overall Objective of the Book: The objective of the book will be to present an "Islamic version" of various managerial functions from a descriptive and normative perspective. The book will introduce Islamic alternatives to conventional business management (in terms of business philosophy, theories, tools and techniques). Target Audience: Academics Researchers Students Recommended Topics: ( but are not limited to the following): Islamic Ethics; Islamic Banking; Islamic Finance; Islamic Marketing; Islamic HR/OB/OD & Change; Islamic Business Strategies; Islamic Entrepreneurship;
Submission Procedure:
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit a 2-3 page chapter proposal clearly explaining the mission and concerns of the proposed chapter. Authors of accepted proposals will be notified about the status of their proposals . Full chapters are expected to be submitted by Aug. 30th, 2012. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis.
