We are offering a full professorship (tenure track) with focus on Global Process Management in our international progammes in Business Administration & Engineering ("Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen"); Global Process Management, International Management). Part of the task is to build up core competencies in Global Process Management at our university, both with regard to teaching and research.
Teaching will be mainly in English language; however, a successful candidate should possess or be willing to acquire German language skills which enable him to teach in German language as well.
The level of proficiency in German language needs to be stated in the application.

Pforzheim University is a highly regarded institution in the south of Germany, which consists of three faculties: design, engineering and business. As part of the extension of our Programs in Business Administration and Engineering we are seeking forthwith a
You will be required to address the issue of increasing globalization in business and the related demands placed on modern company management and corporate networks of varying sizes. Alongside experience in international business you will be expected to possess knowledge of cooperative management, organization of global business processes, worldwide value chains as well as planning of worldwide production locations and business markets. The majority of your lectures will be conducted in English, in compliance with the international context.
The successful applicant will have at least five years proven work experience and research leadership skills proved by a University degree and PhD/doctoral degree. Furthermore, the successful candidate is expected to take an active role in applied research at the University, which has to be demonstrated by academic publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or the successful acquisition of projects/funding. In addition to the relevant academic and professional qualifications, applicants are expected to work in a team and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The formal requirements for applicants are a University degree and a Ph. D. or a comparable scientific qualification. A minimum of five years of postgraduate experience is required, of which a minimum of three years must have been gained outside the University. The successful applicant will initially be offered a tenured position on probation, which will automatically be changed to a tenured position when the conditions stipulated by the regional government (Baden-Württemberg) have been fulfilled.
