Dear International Management Division members:

Are you a faculty member at a university in Latin America or Africa? Would you like to get more involved with the IM Division?  If so, consider being a part of the IM Division's Membership Drive Committee.  Our committee's purpose is to increase Academy of Management awareness about our division, as well as to encourage membership involvement. We assist the Executive Committee (EC) in identifying and addressing issues regarding member relations and involvement, serve as a liaison between our members and the EC, and foster communication from and among members.  Specifically, we are available at the annual Academy of Management meeting for various events such as the IM Division social, the IM Division committee meetings, and Tuesday morning outreach breakfast; each member of the committee is a representative to one or more regions of the world by being available by email to queries from our division's members from those regions; we rotate responsibilities for checking the membership drive committee email account for feedback; and develop and follow through on initiatives to engage members in the division and liaise between members and the EC.  You can learn a little more on our webpage at: http://division.aomonline.org/im/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=101&Itemid=149.
