    2007 Fondazione IRI Summer School
    in Management Studies on 'Managing Global Business'
    _____________________________________________


    Fondazione IRI (    www.fondazioneiri.it ) is pleased to announce the
    organization of the Fourth Summer School in Management Studies for doctoral
    students and young researchers in business and managerial studies.

    Over the past three editions, the Fondazione IRI Summer School has become a
    regular appointment to promote cutting edge international research and
    teaching in management studies.

    The title of the 2007 edition is: Managing Global Business .

    Among others, following lecturers have confirmed their participation:

    -          Paul ALMEIDA (McDonough Sch. of Business at Georgetown Univ.)
    -          Erkko AUTIO (Imperial College London, Tanaka Business School)
    -          Chris BREWSTER (Henley Management College)
    -          John CANTWELL (Rutgers Business School in New Jersey)
    -          Philip COOKE (Cardiff University)
    -          Martin KENNEY (University of California, Davis)

    The School is coordinated by:
    Prof. Giovanni LORENZONI
    (Università di Bologna) and
    Dr. Alberto DI MININ
    (Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna & University of  California, Berkeley).

    The 2007 Summer School will begin on Sunday, June 17 with a welcome dinner
    and activities will begin with an introductory seminar dedicated to "Italian
    Way to Globalization" with top managers from leading Italian multinationals
    and foreign companies investing in Italy:
    Closing session will be on Friday, 22 June.

    Venue of the IV Edition is the International School for Advanced Education
    (SIAF) in Volterra, a beautiful and ancient town in the heart of Tuscany,
    Italy.

    There is no participation-fee and Fondazione IRI will provide full-board
    accommodation for selected candidates. Participants will be responsible to
    cover their travel expenses to and from Volterra.

    The official language of the School is English.
