We are pleased to announce that Wiley-Blackwell and Old Dominion University
are organizing a symposium on Corporate Governance in China and India to be
held on Oct 24-25, 2008 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Anil K. Gupta, the Ralph J. Tyser Professor of Strategy and Organization,
Research Director-Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship, and Research
Director-Center for International Business Education & Research at the
Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland
and
Minxin Pei, Senior Associate and Director of the China Program at the
Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, will be our keynote speakers.
Due to demand, in addition to the academic track, we are developing a
practitioner track that focus on investment in both countries.
We would like to invite you to attend and present your research at the
symposium. Selected papers from the symposium will be published in a
special issue of Corporate Governance: An International Review (an SSCI
journal). The deadline for proposal submission is March 30 and you need
to submit a structured abstract of 200-500 words. For the full call for
