Old Dominion University invites applications for an experienced Assistant
or Associate Professor in Management in the Department of Business
Administration of the College of Business and Public Administration. The
ideal candidate for this position would have a well-developed research
agenda and teaching experience in Strategic Management with an additional
interest in a complementary area of expertise or related discipline. We
are especially interested in candidates with interest and expertise in
international business. The position would commence in August, 2007.
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree in Strategic Management and have a
record of publications in top-tier journals in the discipline of
management. We seek a collegial scholar who embraces excellence in both
research and teaching. The new candidate is expected to play a critical
role in the design and delivery of teaching cutting-edge strategic
management concepts and skills at the undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. levels.

During the past four years, the College of Business and Public
Administration has moved into a new state-of-the-art building, established
several endowed chairs, and secured significant funding for faculty
development. The new faculty member will join the strategy group which
consists of: Barbara Bartkus, Bill Judge, Shaomin Li, Sara Morris, Anil
Nair, and Deepak Sethi. Rounding out the management department in the
OB/HR area is: Paul Champagne, Diana Deadrick, Soo Lee, Steve Maurer, Bruce
