Junior Tenure-track Faculty Position in Management & Organizations

The Management & Organizations Area at the Ross School of Business seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty member to begin in September 2015. Junior applicants (PhD completed no earlier than 2011) from business schools and all relevant disciplines (e.g., psychology and sociology) will be considered.  Applicants should possess a strong research background and an interest in the study of organizations. We are particularly interested in hearing from colleagues with macro or meso interests. Our new colleague should be able to teach effectively in our BBA, MBA and PhD programs.  Applicants should have or expect to have defended their dissertation by September 1, 2015.

Applicants are required to submit their applications electronically by visiting the website (
http://www.bus.umich.edu/facultyrecruiting/) and uploading their curriculum vitae, research papers and up the three papers or publications, research statement, teaching statement, and teaching evaluations. For an application to be considered complete, all applicants must have three letters of recommendation uploaded to the online recruiting website.  While the application deadline is November 2, 2014, candidates are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

For questions related to the application process, please contact Shelly Whitmer:

    Sincerely,

Jim Walsh, Chair of the Recruiting Committee
