Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a vacant tenure-track assistant professorship in International Business at the Department of International Economics, Government and Business (EGB).
The expected starting date is 1 September 2027 (at the latest).
EGB is a multidisciplinary department that conducts high-quality research in international business and political science, with direct relevance to business, decision-makers, and the broader public.
While societal challenges are inherently changing and dynamic, at present, research at the department resonates with two challenges in particular: (1) Geopolitical challenges; (2) Technological change and digital transformation, with an emphasis on AI. In a broader sense, we address societal challenges such as corruption, regulations, international conflicts and tensions, migration, populism, and ethical and unethical behavior of MNEs.
These are non-exhaustive examples of research and teaching areas that the assistant professor may cover:
- International Business Strategy
- MNEs and their organization
- Foreign Direct Investment, trade, and internationalization theory
- Role of MNEs in addressing geopolitical and/or digital challenges
The assistant professorship is a tenure-track position (6 years) with research and teaching obligations. The decision regarding tenure is made between the fourth and the sixth year.
