    Dear colleagues,

     

    I am delighted to announce the 2022 Irish Academy of Management Distinguished International Scholar is Professor Anne-Wil Harzing, Middlesex University.

     

    You are invited to attend our free to attend, online event on November 8th which will see Professor Harzing speak with Prof Alma McCarthy, University of Galway on how we can build a more inclusive academia and how we can be more proactive in shaping our own academic careers. 

     

    Anne-Wil is Professor of International Management at Middlesex University, London and visiting Professor of International Management at Tilburg University. She is a Fellow of the Academy of International Business, a select group of distinguished AIB members who are recognized for their outstanding contributions to the scholarly development of the field of international business or have made significant contributions to the AIB. Anne-Wil also has a keen interest and substantial impact in respect to journal quality and research performance metrics, as well as diversity & inclusion in academia. In this context she is the editor of the Journal Quality List, the provider of Publish or Perish, a software program that retrieves and analyses academic citations, and the founder of CYGNA, a network for female academics.

     

    This event will be held through Zoom on Tuesday 8th November 2022, from 14:00 to 15:00 (Irish local time).
