The Center for Emerging Markets at Northeastern University invites you to a one-day Global Sustainability Summit, on Saturday, October 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Hear from senior policymakers, think-tank leaders, business executives, and more as they discuss the pressing sustainability challenges of today and how they are working to mitigate climate change around the world. Speakers include:
- Jean-Pascal Tricoire, Chairman of Schneider Electric
- Franziska Ohnsorge, Chief Economist, South Asia, World Bank
- Arunabha Ghosh, Founder-CEO of a climate think-tank (CEEW) and policy advisor in India;
- Anshu Gupta, the Founder-CEO of an Indian NGO (Goonj) who is trying to soften the impact of climate change on rural and underprivileged citizens
- Shameen Prashantham, Professor, CEIBS-Shanghai, and author of HBR article on China & Sustainability
This event is free and open to all. A light lunch will be provided for in-person attendees. To attend, REGISTRATION is required.
Attendees are encouraged to join us in person for this year's summit at the East Village 17th Floor Conference Facility at Northeastern University, Boston. Those tuning in from outside of Boston may also join us virtually through a private live stream.
