I am writing to let you know that npj Climate Action (2025 JCR Impact Factor 5.8) is currently welcoming submissions to a collection on "Beyond Regulation: Collaborative Strategies for Climate Action in a Disrupted World". As the Collection's Guest Editor, I hope you will consider this as an outlet for your research paper.
This collection explores interdisciplinary, collaborative research and innovative strategies to address pressing climate and carbon management challenges amid global disruptions, focusing on actionable pathways for net-zero transition across diverse sectors, policy, communities, industries and public engagement. This Collection is a great opportunity to highlight this important area of research, and we hope you will be able to contribute. Submissions will be welcomed at any point up until 09 March 2027, but if you are unable to submit a manuscript before this date, please let me know as we may be able to be flexible.
Manuscripts submitted to the Collection may include original primary research articles and other content types published by the journal. The content of the submission will also be assessed to ensure it fits within the scope of the Collection, and the aims and scope of the Journal.
If accepted for publication, an article processing charge (APC) applies. Many funders and institutions now cover OA publishing costs for affiliated researchers, as part of an OA agreement with Springer Nature . If you are the corresponding author from a participating institution, you may be eligible to publish with the APC covered or discounted.
